The Honorable BARRY S. GUSI (son of the founder of the Gusi Peace Prize, Captain Gemeniano Javier Gusi and Madam Teodora Sotejo Gusi)

The Honorable Barry S. Gusi is married to Dr. Evelyn Tantamco Gusi, a respected (Pediatrician) Physician from Manila, and has three children Mikko Dominic, Maria Conchitina and Maria Evanka.

He has traveled the world championing the rights of the poor, abused, deprived, needy and the humiliated.

As an internationalist, his efforts in working for peace have been admired around the world.

The Honorable Barry Gusi was a former Honorary Ambassador of the Northern Marianas Pacific Islands, and was voted as the Who’s Who in the Philippines man of the Year for 2002. He has also recently been elected as the National President of the Auxiliary to the Federation of the Philippine Medical Private Practitioners while continuing to serve as an officer of the Philippine Armed Forces Reserves.

The headines that have followed him worldwide on his mission of peace hads deemed him, “Internationalist”

He continues this work for peace worldwide via the Gusi Peace Prize, which is an annual event held in Manila, Philippines.
